The Jessner peel is a highly effective peeling agent formulated with a combination of Resorcinol, Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid for a intensive medium to deep strength peel for experienced users only who have had experience with peel treatments such as Salicylic 20% or more or Glycolic 50% or more.

The Jessner Peel can be used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation, treat mild acne and acne scars and to treat photo damaged and aged sun damaged skin. Jessner peels achieve a more thorough peel than Alpha Hydroxy Acid peels and is appropriate for patients requiring deeper peeling. Jessner’s peels cause the top layers of skin to flake off while also stimulating the deeper layers of the skin. The top layers of skin are the most sun-damaged, wrinkled, unattractive layers of skin. After they are removed, the new, fresh, younger looking skin underneath is revealed and brought to the surface. The the deep layer of skin, the dermis, is also stimulated by the Jessner skin peel and causes new fibroblasts and collagen to develop, reducing the depth of lines and wrinkles caused by aging. Repetitive peeling with Jessner’s peel improves tone, texture, and quality of the skin.

Ingredients:
The Jessner peel should be applied by experienced peel users only.

This solution is applied with light gentle strokes onto the skin and should be layered. A mild stinging sensation maybe felt for several minutes after application. Jessner peels can be applied every two-three weeks until desired results are achieved. The peel procedure can alternate between Jessner and other solutions such as AHA peels for optimal results.

Directions : Using gauze pad, apply 2-3 thin coats to entire face, neck or area to be treated- avoid eyes. May use a fan to cool skin. Leave on skin according to patients tolerance - not more than ten minutes for all skin types. On initial application leave on for minimal time and observe reaction. Rinse with cool water. Can apply Hyaluronic Moisturizeras often as needed to cool and soothe skin.

I was very pleased with the results of my first Jessner Peel. I have had several peels and microdermabrasion done at my dermotologist office and felt comfortable doing the procedure at home...I am still peeling and flaky and already have had compliments on my complexion can't wait to see if my dermatologist notices...
