Glycolic
Acid has long been one of the most important skin care ingredients available.
The unique character of this AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) makes glycolic an
excellent catalyst for rejuvenating the skin. In fact, all the skin peels
and skin exfoliants we offer are effective at getting your skin renewal
on the right track simply because they kick-start the regeneration process
by exfoliating the skin and causing new skin, collagen and elastin to
grow and take place of the older and sun exposed skin. Afte exfoliating,

Glycolic
acid has been shown to be especially effective for damaged and aged skin
whilst Lactic Acid, for example, is an AHA cousin and is considered a
less agressive peel acid and is less drying to the skin. On the other
side of the spectrum you can consider Salicylic Acid which is a fantastic
cosmetic ingredient to reduce facial oil and impurities and improve the
look of your skin. Salicylic used immediately prior to a Glycolic treatment
will allow for a deeper penetration of the Glycolic and a significantly
better result - a procedure referred to as an Alpha Beta peel. |

you will need to perform a professional style peel.

Glycolic
Complete Peel Systems are
available in light, medium, deep and advanced strengths. Each peel
kit is designed to be used a simple system consisting of 3 items:
1.
Glycolic Acid Skin Peel Gel applied every 2-3 weeks. (Peel's available
in all percentage strengths).
2.
A more gentle Glycolic Acid 10% Daily Exfloliator Gel (used during
the period in-between peel applications) to further turnover skin
cells and promote the effects of the peel.
3.
Hyaluronic Moisturizer - to soothe, nourish and moisturize. (oil-free
for all skin types)
The

| Why
do I need a daily exfoliator & Hyaluronic Moisturizer? |
| Applying
a peel to the skin can dramatically turn over the skin's cells - shedding
dead and damaged skin and replacing them with new younger softer looking
skin that has a more even skin tone and more youthful look. To perform
a treatment that will fully enhance the natural turnover process you must
also treat the skin during the "downtime period" otherwise known as the
period between when the peeling has ceased and the next peel application.
Applying a low strength daily exfoliator, such as Glycolic 10% Daily Exfoliator
or Salicylic 2% Daily Exfoliator, will gently promote further cell turnover
and help to continue the rejuvenation process forn effective result. Hyaluronic
Moisturizer is perfect for promoting healthy new skin growth as it is
purified, oil-free and one of the best available cosmetic ingredients
for retaining moisture. |
